Who's good, who's phoney in FliP forum!

19.02.06, 12:32
Dave (Usenetpost)- Full of crap, but he has an excause; he's English, he's
harmless.

Maggie- Believes that acting "British" will make her popular with Dave, Russh
and few other real foreigners. She's spoiled brat of SLD party boss,
incredibly arrogant.

Russh- Harmless, but naive,he let's others think for him. He's out of touch
with polish reality, since he can not read or speak polish.

Ianek- Maggie's clone, male type.

Kylie- She's up there, but her excause is that her brain is frozen from sub-
zero Canadian temparatures, besides she's spend most of her short life in
US's 51 st state.

Normabaker- I hope she's going to stay here for long. True Pole, inteligent
and straightforward.

Waldek- Polish patriot, believes that one can speak english and still think
polish.

Ervin- Romanian profesor, expert, schollar...full of crap, thinks he is
smarter than Chinesse philosopher.

Can't say much about others, maybe because they were not leaning either way
too strongly.

Since a lot of my views coincide with yours, you're not doing yourself any
favours by calling them crap, but I dare say you were too thick to notice.

In a short space of time, counting the votes so far, what you think is likely
    to be academic anyway.

I see even your insults contain some flattery, Waldek. You are just upset you

Really? So going back a few lines, why can't Russ speak English and still think
Polish? Why does this exemption from the claims of the Sapir-Whorff hypothesis
apply only to you, not him?

Dave, I did in fact noticed that you're make a lot of sense in a bulk of
issues, but your Englishness makes you a person full of crap, who beats around
the bush a bit to much, unnecesserly plays with worlds to amuse others and your
own vanity. But did I mentioned; you're harmless. I do appreciate your
openmindness, for an Anglo-Saxon you're quite knowledgable on polish issues,
but perheaps too critical about all things Polish.

And has no wish to think Polish. I am beginning to understand how many Polish
people think though. I have my own ideas and opinions, formed by living in many
different places over the years, and being intelligent enough to know that I
    know very little.

-Kylie lives in Vancover, Lower Mainland, BC. If your knowledge of Canada were
a fraction of what you require an average "Anglo-Saxon" to know about Poland,
you would know that temperatures in Vancouver very seldom drop below zero.
In fact, Kylie lives in a climate way more favorable than the one where you most
likely freeze your ass and your brain.
(Now, it's an entirely different story where I'm at smile

Worse yet- you prove that you don't even know much about your own adoptive
country, since a big chunk of the US Pacific North-West shares the same climate
    with BC Lower Mainland.

Waldek, I think this was funny. Honestly, you made me laugh.
Too bad that you started with your insults.

Please note that you are flattering yourself: you are a lot less patriot then
your friends Borowski or Cimoszewicz. At least they are here.

On the other hand, please learn that there is a huge difference between Polish
and polish (as in shoe polish).

thinks that the University diploma and some schollastic credentials make you
    better than others?

You are disappointing me, I though that you know better than that. According to
you is living in parental land the only requirment from a patriot......
What about Dalai Lama, do you think he is not patriot because he spend most of
his life in Northern India? And please don't givbe me a lecture on "political
exile" and "economic imigration" because both are interwined, and for that
matter Frederic Chopin was more Economic/oportunistic immigrant than the
    political one.

I heard that a thousand times before..We are on casual internet enviroment and
not some scientific convention.....If I wanted to impress others I would check
the spelling, but again this is not and stakes are low.

I'm rally happy to hear that, cause I love to make people feel good, and as
such your last post was a complement to me, it was quite consilatory and
    honest.

I just hope that you have not taken offence from my description of you (the

Maggie, When I read your posts I can not believe that your background is
anything else but..former ruling elite (SLD) with connection to Organized Crime.
Please explain it to me if you will; how in the earth you can live in Poland
and complain about new Conservative Law and Justice Governement? It has sworn
to distroy the former elites (PZPR-SLD)that were preying on Poland from 1945.

What evidence have you, beyond a wild surmise that would have done credit to
stout Cortez and all his men, that anyone at all on this forum is a supporter
    of the SLD?

Now I will admit, I have shaken hands with Kwasniewski and I have shaken hands
with Miller, and on numerous occasions with the former prime minister Messner
and I will say this, that they could have done a lot worse for this country.

That having been said, I prefer the right wing, but there is no point going on
    a witchhunt.

They were socialists when they had to be, but when it counted they didn't
behave like socialists, and so they did less damage than I feared they would.

And let me just tell you, if you have ears to hear, that maggie's family have
nothing whatsoever to do with that party, kindly get that fact into your thick
    skull.

Where did I complain about them? This is a democracy I don't have to agree with
any politicians, it doesn't matter which party is in power.
Good luck to them for trying but Waldek you are obvously too young to
understand that politics is a dirty game. And especially in the light of media
being a very stron power, any politician will say what you want to hear -

Confilict? Is there a war in Poland I don't know about? And IF there is, you
are the LAST person to tell me which side I should or should not be on.
Want to come here and join the barricades? No, I didn't think so.

would sit on his Chicago backside with your slippers on and watch Poles sort

    Well, I can.

If you would live in Warsaw for the last three years, you would see that any
credible program of our beloved worshipped Mr. Duckhurst is just smoke and
mirror. He's got no managerial skills to run the biggest city in Poland so I
doubt he is equally qualified to run the country as such. I have voted for him
in the Warsaw major elections, but unfortunately the disappointment overwhelmed me.

Saying this, I would like to state very clearly that I never voted for SLD or
any former communist party/politician and I do not support any socialist or more
left oriented party, including PiS which is in my opinion more socialist than
SLD (which is infact a power party, like they have it in Latin America, and if
they could win elections wrapping themselves as a dog-supporter party, they
    would do it).

Waldek, tell me what you like about what this Government has done. Also tell me
