Chart shows the skyrocketing wholesale cost of ethanol.
Currently near $4 a gallon.
Mindful that ethanol has 70% of the energy pop of gasoline.
Also that the ethanol additive mandate adds to the pump price of
gasoline. Also that the ethanol is taxpayer subsidized.

Mr Lancaster often confounds me with the energy/economics arguments,
but in this case would be valid.
Looks like ethanol from corn is fools errand.
