"Procter & Gamble (P&G)-owned fragrance brand Lacoste is following up its new
men’s fragrance Lacoste (launched in March this year) with a women’s line
called Touch of Pink. The new fragrance launches globally this September.
Composed by Domitille Bertier of IFF, the fragrance is a fresh floral with
notes of blood orange, fresh coriander, jasmine, violet, sandalwood and
vanilla. It comes in a slender, transparent pink-graded bottle with
transparent cap, designed by Sylvie de France. It is housed in bright-pink
packaging.
As with the men's fragrance, Touch of Pink targets consumers between 16 and
25. The line is composed of three EdTs (30ml, 50ml and 90ml) priced from €35
to €56, a 75ml roll-on deodorant (€18), 150ml shower gel (€18) and 200ml body
lotion (€23).
The launch will be backed by advertising campaigns including television spots
created by Callegary Berville Grey in Paris, France, and print advertising
starring Danish singer Natasha Thomas."
