Z cosmeticnews.com:

"Puig-owned Paco Rabanne's Black XS "bad boy" now has a girlfriend. With
Black XS for Her, the brand is once again taking on the women's fragrance
market, but this time with a certain advantage: a finely-tuned synergy with
the successful men's line. Similarly styled, Black XS for Her comes in an
ornate, deep red bottle by Jérôme Faillant Dumas (Love agency). The women’s
packaging has been given a larger rose emblem in fuchsia instead of white.
The two formulas are also similar, with a warm, sensual wood and patchouli
accord. Emilie Coppermann and Marc Buxton (Symrise) built the fragrance
around a heart of hellebore rose, with tamarind blossom, pink peppercorns and
cranberry in the sharp, fresh top note, and a heavy dose of massoia wood,
patchouli and vanilla in the base note.

Like the men’s fragrance, the advertising visual in black and white features
a young model—a woman—wearing jeans and chain necklaces.
With the launch of Black XS for Her, Paco Rabanne hopes to generate renewed
interest in the men's version as well. Launched in spring 2005, the
Black "hard rock" version of XS has proven far more successful than the
original. Now Paco Rabanne's top-selling men's fragrance, Black XS represents
30% of the brand's total fragrance turnover worldwide.

Black XS for Her EdT is priced €32 for 30ml, €45 (50ml) and €55 (80ml); the
deodorant spray, body lotion and shower gel are each priced €20. The women’s
fragrance launches in France at the end of July, and internationally starting
in September, except in the US where it will launch in 2008."

"SPAIN. Two years after the launch of BlackXS for men, the house of Paco
Rabanne is introducing a new feminine fragrance partner for a generation
of "trendy girls and rebel princesses" aged between 16 and 29.

The extravagant launch party for BlackXS for Her took place at the Cité de
l'Architecture in Paris, a world heritage centre of international importance.
Spanish-born designer Paco Rabanne, now in his seventies, joined the hundreds
of journalists and stars at the event on 29 May (see separate Picture Gallery
      story).

Dubbed a "love potion", BlackXS for Her is described as feminine and sensuous,
evolving from fruity to floral to woody notes. The heart centres on the
mysterious black hellebore flower, also known as the Christmas rose, which
itself has a black heart and blooms during mid-winter in sub-zero temperatures.

The black bottle is curvaceous with purple and pink undertones. The faceted
stopper is designed to echo old-fashioned elixir receptacles and its decoration
is dominated by a rose motif. The bottle bears a rose and elaborate, silver
lettering decorated with rose petals and thorny stems, reiterating the rebel
      theme.

The rose motif reappears on the black lacquer packaging and products in the
range, this time in bright pink. The blooming rose creates a direct link to
      BlackXS for men.

Launching in July initially in Europe, the fragrance is available in two sizes,
50 and 80ml, accompanied by an ancillary range comprising a deodorant spray,
shower gel and body lotion in a 150ml size.

Italian model Bianca is photographed in the black-and-white advertising
visuals, typifying a girl full of "sassy rebel chic" with her short hair,
electrifying eyes and rock-chick clothes. "
