Choinka niepoprawna politycznie

i "stawia chrześcijaństwo w pozycji uprzywilejowanej" - podała z Waszyngtonu
agencja RIA-Nowosti.

Administracja usunęła czterometrową ubraną choinkę i postawiła w hallu dwa

prawa Mathew Nicolson. (mag

Choinka symbolem religijnym... Jakiejż to religii? Akurat ten symbol Świąt,
jest całkowicie neutralny, a podkładanie pod to biedne drzewko ideologii jest
        zadziwiające.

The above ancient Assyrian carving represents a prophecy about the birth of
Jesus, and later its symbolism became part of Christian traditions associated
              with Christmas.

The origin of the Christmas tree is the Assyrian Tree of Life (A.K.A. the
Assyrian Sacred tree). According to ancient Assyrian traditions it represented
rebirth and regeneration of life and the link between Ashur and humans or
heaven and earth. And that is what the birth of Jesus represents.

There are several forms of Assyrian trees of life, below are some variations:

              www.zyworld.com/Assyrian/Third%20form_Pomegranate.JPG

              www.zyworld.com/Assyrian/holy%20water%20fir-tree.JPG
The above picture shows an Assyrian tree of life with pomegranate fruits, and
as they ripen their color turns red, combined with the green color of the
tree, we arrive at the Red and Green known as Christmas colors.

Occasionally the tree of life is represented with the winged disk of Ashur
hovering above it, with rays descending from the winged disk down towards the
tree. If you look at the end of the rays you will notice a shape that looks
like the Greek letter Omega, this represents the uterus, which was the symbol
of fertility in ancient Assyria. The similarity between ancient Assyrian and
Christian symbolism is striking, (noting that the picture is shown in
              symmetry) here are the parallels:

              1. The winged disk of Ashur became the dove of the Holy Spirit in Christianity.

              2. The descending rays from the disk of Ashur, represent how Jesus descended
from heaven to earth as the Holy Spirit.

              3. The ending of those rays with the symbol of the uterus, represents how the
Virgin Mary conceived Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

              4. The Assyrian king shown holding the end of the ray (on both sides of the
tree of life), represent the link to God through the trinity (Father, Son &
Holy Spirit), in Christianity Jesus is the King, and also the Shepard which
was also a title of Assyrian kings.

              5. The Angels on both sides of the king represent the Angels who announced the
birth of Jesus. Noting that (in Assyrian art) those angels were sometimes
represented as winged humans with human faces and sometimes with eagle faces
(to indicate that they are heavenly creatures). Also noting that Assyrians
were the first nation on earth that represented angels showing them as winged
              humans.

              6. In one hand the Angels are carrying a bucket of water which represents the
source of life and the baptism of Jesus.

              7. In the other hand the Angels are holding a pine cone or a branch of tree, a
symbol of fertility, and in Christianity during Pentecost, the priests dip a
branch in a bucket and sprinkle the water over the congregation, representing
the holy spirit ascending on the disciples of Jesus. see article at:
