Warsaw Film Festival

02.10.05, 09:24

Just recently I checked the schedule and the films and I remembered Maggie
asking about movies that we would recommend.

I would recommend the work of Cristi Puiu who is also in the jury, the movie
called "The death of Mr. Lazarescu". I haven't seen this film yet, but I am
familiar with Cristi Puiu previous work, so definitely I am sure that it
worths to check out this movie.

Unfortunately I didn't noticed any Hungarian movie in the schedule.. or maybe
I just didn't pay enough attention. Anyway, last year Kontrolerzy did a good jobsmile

      Ta ervinsmile
I always enjoy Czech comedies at the festival. I think us Poles are rather
sentimental about them. I'm not sure if there are any this year.
      Ta for the info!

Greetings from the gorgeous Transylvanian mountainssmile

Maggie, thanks for the advice! In my absence my wife got tickets for a couple of
movies, especially movies with a human rights topic which seem very interesting.
In fact, I would like to see probably all the moviessmile but who has the time..?

This is the second time when you are writing "us Poles"smile
I just wonder if you are half Polish or just stayed here for so long that it is
        natural to say "us Poles"..
