Maybe I'm wrong but I think Poland doesn't needs more conservative
      politicians...

Maybe I'm wrong, but you both are right...

You're not saying that till now Poland has had conservative pollies, are you?

Let's give the twins a chance, although I'm a bit concerned with the choice of
speaker and at least one of his deputies.....

        cheers

Well, I am also concerned. This Government won't be good for business (it's not
that I am a businessman): did you see how the stock market fell?

Now the Kaczynscy have to pay out for Lepper's support and I am afraid of this..
Looks like there will be a coalition between them. I was just listening to
Trojka and they were mentioning that maybe LPR will support them.

Now I cannot find the results for the parliamentary elections, but if
PiS-Samoobrona-LPR has 50% then we are in it quite deep. And I don't think that
the majority of PiS electorate wanted to be in the same bucket with Samoobrona,
or how Uncle Davey put it: "with the Lepper colony".
If LPR will be in the government Poland will have the same problem as Austria in
Jorg Haider's time. But the problem is that Poland needs EU more than Austria.

If this coalition will become reality I think many Polish will regret that they
          voted for PiS.

I'm afraid you're right, sadly. The coalition with LPR looks rather likely and
that means that Radio Maryja will now have a real foothold in the Polish
parliament. I dread to think of the consequences.

I cannot fathom, pay-offs or not, how a bloke with criminal convictions and
other criminal matters pending, can even be considered for a dep speaker. It
beggars belief but seems miracles do happen in Poland more often than in other
            parts of the globe.

And yes, PL needs EU, badly.

So what now, we hold our breath and wait???

            cheers

"I cannot fathom, pay-offs or not, how a bloke with criminal convictions and
other criminal matters pending..." Now think that the head of the Law and
Justice party is shaking hand with this guy. This is how seriously they take the
              law (without capitals) and justice.

Well, I am holding my breathsmile and hoping that in half a year there will be
early elections.. And if the guys in the government will have their usual
behaviour then PO could have majority in case of early elections.

Although all this "business" makes me sad.. But if the majority wanted this..
              now they have it!

              I'll try to cheersmile
I will spend the long weekend in the Tatra so I'm sure this will helpsmile

Well, I reckon some nice, cold, pure mountain air would do some good to those
overheated brains in the law & justice party.

You think 6 months before the next election? Maybe so, but will that be enough
to sway those who voted for Mr Duck to switch and vote for whoever will replace
                Mr Donald?

                'eve a good one

                cheers
