Problem of transparency; How to elect new admin?

18.11.05, 07:15
Let me just state clearly what is my concern; Nasza_Maggie who is an admin at
English Only forum, deleated my post in which I courtiously proposed choosing
new admin for that forum. Which I found reasonable thing to do because this
way posters could voice their opinions and either support my idea of choosing
new admin, still others could even get a chance to back her up.

I did that because I found her actions as admin unprofessional and arrogant.
Why? She would not let me voice my opinions in english, saying its strictly
educational forum, but herself she would start post on "Polish Presidential
Election" as she pleased.

Then when I took part in this discussion she reply that she "doesnt care what
my political stand is on that issue" I just found it unprofessional due to
her job as an admin..... among other things she ends all her post with "In
Her Majesty Service" allegeance, which I found little above the line since
she is technicaly representing polish media not the british one...

What's your objective take on that?

I could easly imagine Uncle Davey's great grandpa in 1750 shrugging his arms
when someone pointed out injustice that black africans suffer from hands of
their British occupiers...;"Oh, come on you ruined my marvlous evening tea,
        speaking of such unbearably things"

I bet you would't be willing to die for Danzig either....

Uncle Davey's great granpa, in 1750!

Dave, your families longevity is a new record!

          Let me have some please.

Sorry, I got so carried away with the longevity that I wrote families, and not
            family's.

Please forgive me, 'cos I really want to know the secret.

don't be sorry, I'm not one of those folks who love to point out a slightest
gramatical error you make, and are happy to rub their little hands before doing
              so.

            Heh heh heh.

Talking of longevity - this group has officially "come of age" as we've got out
            own stalky nutjob.

            Everybody needs a mascot.

Joking apart, in 1750 my direct ancestors in the male line were Welsh minors,
and they were treated a good deal worse than African slaves. An African slave
was property. If he died you were out of pocket, so you didn't push them too
far. If one of my ancestors died they picked another miner from the queue.

I don't have anything to have a complex about black slavery about.

In fact, I'm thinking of demanding compensation from the government of Liberia.

              Crikey!

I can't get beyond my grandad!

Now surprise me again by telling me something in Welsh.

I spent some time in Brymawr (I was a lowly assistant management accountant at
the time), and a year in Swansea. Had a great time. Loved the people, and the Rugby.

Actually I'm singing a bit in Welsh on my website.

If you can bear it it's www.usenetposts.com/dynerlais.mp3

It's 2.2 MB, so don't go for it if you're, like, on the phone.

Even if your post was thought-provoking, well-researched, informative, written
with an understated elegance, topical and frightfully witty, and even if
deleting it was an act of pure callous evil, it was weeks ago and on a
completely different forum. Consequently, nobody gives a shit.
