Accountancy course

11.01.06, 17:10

I would like to do an accountancy course. Nothing too advanced (I have law
degree, so don't know much about the figures), just to learn the basics
because, as I am finding out, some financial skills are always welcomed.

I did some research for courses in English in Warsaw, but without much results.

Since I know that some of you work in the "business" could you advise me where
can I find such courses.

Dave, I tried to find info on the Warsaw Voice site about the courses you've
mentioned in a post 2-3 months ago, but couldn't find anything. Did the
courses took off?

Thanks for the help!

Ervin

Actually, the publicity it had was not that broad - it was only on their
website and not in the magazine itself and so we didn't as yet get the required
response, and the cycle is still only at embryo stage.

After the main audit season is done, we will kick start it.

I will see that you receive, as my friend free of charge, the course material
we produced for a three day course called "financial accounting for non-
financial managers" - it is designed to be an introduction. You can look over
the material - it is in Polish, and see how much of that you can gain without
an actual teacher sitting with you for three days - that much I can't give for
free or even cheap enough for a person not being bankrolled by a company to
afford it - at least not at this time of the year.

Tomorrow I will look out where the files are, and email them to you.

What I think I can recommend is that you talk to BPP's Wojtek Krynski, or if
he's not in talk to Renata Bielecka. www.bpppolska.com.pl/ will show you
      the contact phone numbers.

Tell them you know me, and that I said they would give you a good deal, and I
think they will show you all the options of the English languages
qualifications that are doable and will really add value to your CV. It's a
very strong second string to your bow after a law degree.

      Good luck.
