Arfur Daley

I just loved watching Minder on TV last night. And the cars - a Capri tailing
a Cortina! If you get Sky you can get Dennis Waterman in The Sweeney as
well. For real naff Eighties entertainment though, you can't beat The
Professionals (Bodie and Doyle strike again).
GBP 19 a month.

The bit of Only Fools and Horses I watched last night had Delboy stuck in a
lift with his plonker brother - I have to ration myself though, as I will soon
have seen all of them and then what will I do?

                  Nope.
But what about Danger UXB? Classic telly, but never repeated

Pob was this thing that used to spit on the tv screen on sunday afternoons on
                    channel4.

It's a shame I just don't follow any of this stuff. Can't join the discussion sad

It's funny (well, maybe funny isn't the best word, but you know what I mean) how
British popular culture is so local. I know it all has to do with the fact that
it's very difficult to compete with the stuff the US exports. It's really too
bad though, I remember how much I enjoyed watching British television while I
was living in London - especially channel 4.

ofcourse you can - you must remember somehting from tv from that period?
channel 4 news is the best, I reckon!

It was a long time ago, 10 years already.

I recall a genuinely funny program where famous guests, mostly actors and
comedians, were invited to put on inpromptu sketches. It was hilarious. Can't
          remember the title though.
