So instead of lugging around dozens of different cards, you just have one with your own chip in it ( your personal id #). When you buy something, you don't have to sign anything on a piece of paper any more, just punch in your PIN # and you are done. It's supposed to reduce fraud that's ranking there in millions of pounds every year. It hasn't been introduced in Canada yet. Not that I am aware anyway. Odpowiedz Link
