Profit by not passing wind

ABSURD!!!!!

A female teacher is claiming GBP 1m in damages after she was forced to sit in
a chair that made flatulent sounds. Sue Storer, 48, told an industrial
tribunal she was constantly apologising to children, parents and teachers
about the rude noises which emanated from her chair every time she moved.

But the school refused to replace the chair, she claimed.

A year later two male deputy heads got new executive chairs.

"It was very embarrassing to sit on," she told the tribunal.

"I asked for a chair that didn't make these very embarrassing farting sounds."

The divorcee claims the the chair problem was just one example of sexist
behaviour that undermined her position at Bedminster Down secondary school in
Bristol.

She quit her £48,000 a year job last year and is claiming constructive
dismissal and sex discrimination.

.... Does anyone have any other good ideas for making money in this way???

If she wins, it will be only another example of one of the many sicknesses
      currently afflicting British society.

School teachers, in turn, are afraid to allow children to play in any way that
might cause any form of injury or hurt (such as hop-scotch and in many cases
playground football) as they may end up the wrong and of a massive lawsuit.

Parents are afraid to let their children walk or bike to school, as they are
afraid that either cars or paedophiles will get them.

There are others. What the hell is happening?

This is a prime example of why I think Britain is too far gone to bring back to
        sanity.

Once again, the blame can be laid at the feet of the legal mafia, who want
kicking out to the last man and being replaced by a new generation of elected
        legal personnel.

Just as Tony turns out to have fought Conservative party sleaze with worse
hidden sleaze of his own, so the whole legal system in our country has turned
everything topsy turvy so as to give the IMPRESSION of advanced justice, but
time and again, you will see everything they do is calculated to make the one
with the deepest pockets reach for the phone and call the dearest available
        lawyer. It's a nightmare.

The upshot of it is, it's not worth bothering in the UK, because if you
succeed, you will be sued sooner or later. The only way to make money and keep
it is to be a lawyer. And so many people there have taken this last piece of
advice and followed it, that the shyster industry there has now reached
critical mass - in the US also by the way, and the only way for us to recover
democracy is systematically to replace the entire legal system, and do the same
        ab ovo.

If the EU government could only sort that matter out for us it would be worth
        every penny it ever wasted.

I think, like so many things, much of this came from the US. The legal system
now seems to be working on the American 'no win, no pay but 30% of damages if
won' principle, which has exacerbated the sums as in the US. If a kid breaks an
arm playing (my dad said when similar happened to me that it showed I'd had a
good game, and that it was all part of growing up) this means the possibility of
          a million-pound lawsuit now.

Crazy, although as I said before, this is only one of the illnesses. Add this to
PCism, sleaze and corruption at all political levels ++++, what the hell do we
expect. The sufferers, as always, are simple, normal Joe Public.
