Welcome to Poland’s world of investment opportunity. As the new President of
the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (“PAIiIZ”wink it gives me
great pleasure at this very exciting time in my country’s development to
promote trade with, and investment into Poland. We are here to provide you
with the best possible support. Let’s look at some arguments which I hope
will convince you to invest in Poland – there are many but I am going to
focus on 5 fundamental opportunities:

(i) Investment Potential
- The Polish economy is growing at twice of the growth rate of Western
European economies
- Poland is currently ranked 4th in the top 10 global investment
destinations
- In terms of planned investments it is ranked 1st in Europe
- Expected return on investment is estimated at 2 times that of Spain
and 4 times that of Germany

(ii) Human Capital
- Poland’s most valuable asset – its 20 million talented,
entrepreneurial, multilingual young people
- 50% of the population is less then 35 years old – 80% of students
speak English
- Poland ranks 3rd in terms of planned R&D investment destinations
after China and India
- Wide spread educational resources (Universities and Polytechnics in
many Polish cities)

(iii) Strategic Location
- Competitive cost base offers significant location benefits
- Being in the heart of continental Europe – 250m people within a 1000
km radius are easily available
- Part of the Trans European Road Network

(iv) Large and Growing Domestic Market
- 38 million consumers
- 10% growth in the retail market

Unfortunately the last part of Mr Zolniowski's message to me cut off, and I
am unable to forward it, but even this much I thought was already interesting
and useful.

      Thanks, Dave.

It's probably music to Eugene's ears smile
That's great news and I am sure smart investors have known all that for quite
some time, and, like Eugene, didn't waste any time.

After all, Poland is a beautiful country to live in. Give it a little time and
it will be up right up there with all the other big EU nations. Only better!

      smile
