Moussaoui

I'm impressed by certain aspects of American life - trial by jury is one of
them. Mob justice was not done.

I think it is good he did not get the electric chair. Another martyr that's what
they wait for. I bet he was disappointed by the life sentence.

That's why he said "I won America, you lost" as he left the courthouse.

What he means is "as long as you people are too soft to kill the people who
want to kill you, we will go ahead and walk all over you".

But will the western media understand this message?

The idea that they "want martyrdom' is an urban myth. You will notice that the
PROSECUTION was in favour of the death penalty and the DEFENCE was going for
life in jail. How did that happen, if he WANTED martyrdom? Didn't his defence
lawyer know how to take instructions?

They are not really suicidal maniacs, they try and get us to think they are so
that we fear them. In fact they pay people whose families are in debt good
money to suicide bomb on their behalfs most of the time, and the person going
up in smole is doing it to get a better life for their loved ones.

This is why the Israeli army had exactly the right idea by going and flattening
the homes of the families of anyone who suicide bombed. When that happened, it
was hard to get suicide bombers to go as their main motivation, getting a
better life for their surviving loved ones, was taken away. Suicide bombings
increased once the Israeli army withdrew from areas they lived and could no
longer flatten their homes, whereas logic would have expected they would
decrease after they got what they wanted.

The only reason for giving the life sentence to Massaoui was the argument that
he is a monster raving looney, but by that token his mother should be in the
cell next door, after her comments on Euronews, backing him up to the hilt.

The best outcome would be that he should be treated in jail and then denounce
the al-Qaeda publicly once he returns to mental health, but I fear this is
asking too much from the system.

too bad he's going to be isolated for 23 hours a day...i'm pretty sure there
are many in there who'd give gim a warm welcome to the pen system, if only
      given a chance!

He should have "tylko dla panow" tattooed on his buttocks.

That's what they do to the "cwele" in Polish prisons, according to the learned
report Michael Hardenfelt sent me a while back.

Anybody seen Michael, by the way? I'm getting a lot of backsliding in this
group recently. If people aren't happy, they should say so, and I'll do what I
        can about it.
