I saw this headline and I thought it meant that our footballers had somehow
become more favorite to win by three times than Brazil.
This is obviously wrong, as Brazil are not even in Europe. They used to be a
South American country, right now they appear to be a Chinese colony, but
they are not able to compete for the EUFA cup, as they are not in the EU.
Anyway, on reading the article it turns out that England are simply three
times better paid than the Brazilians. well, bearing in mind purchasing power
parity, it would appear the Brazilian players are better off after all.
The article interesting spells one English player's surname as "Bekcham".
Don't let Victoria know, that's all I can say...
