Produkcja przemyslowa ciagle spada w Europie

IP: *.dyn.optonline.net 04.01.03, 03:20
W Europie dalszy spadek produkcji przemyslowej i w grudniu tak jak w
poprzednich miesiacach produkcja przemyslowa spada gwaltownie. Jak twierdzi
dzisiejszy Wall Street Journal tego rodzaju chroniczny spadek przeszkodzi aby
w 2003 roku nastapil wzrost gospodarczy.

"Purchasing managers like Gerard Perrier don't see Europe's manufacturing
industry picking up until the summer.

"It's very morose at the beginning of the year and won't get better until
June at the earliest or even September," said Mr. Perrier, the head of the
electronics division at CDAF, a French group representing 3,200 purchasing
managers.

Euro-zone manufacturing activity declined for a fourth straight month in
December, with the Reuters/NTC Research survey showing the purchasing
management index down 1.1 points to 48.4, below the 50 level that divides
expansion and contraction.

Those numbers are dashing hopes for solid economic growth in Europe in 2003
before the first week of the new year is even over. The region's largest
economies, Germany and France, both slowed last month, with the German PMI
down 2.1 points to a three-month low of 46.9 and France's down 0.9 point at
48.7."
