"German construction industry federation HDB Thursday
cut its turnover forecast for 2003 to a nominal
decline of 4.0% from the 3.1% drop it predicted
Dec. 20. Turnover volumes fell by 5.3% in 2002.

"2002 was a catastrophic year for the German economy.
The economy has big problems, but the construction
sector suffered most," HDB president Ignaz Walter said.
"The beginning of the construction year 2003 gives
hardly any reason to hope for a trend reversal."

nadal szukaja tam rozwiazan w pomocy od panstwa.
