USA: Dyktatura czy stan wojenny??

Amerykanskie elity polityczne przygotowuja sie do kryzysu.
Politycznego? Ekonomicznego? Socjalnego?
Na wszelki wypadek, prezio Busz wlasnie podpisal Public Law 109-364, dajace
prezydentowi dyktaturskie pelnomocnictwa...

Public Law 109-364, or the "John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007"
(H.R.5122) (2), which was signed by the commander in chief on October 17th,
2006, in a private Oval Office ceremony, allows the President to declare
a "public emergency" and station troops anywhere in America and take control
of state-based National Guard units without the consent of the governor or
local authorities, in order to "suppress public disorder."

Martial Law Bush's October Surprise?

TF - Frank Morales - In a stealth maneuver, President Bush has signed into
law a provision which, according to Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont), will
actually encourage the President to declare federal martial law (1). It does
so by revising the Insurrection Act, a set of laws that limits the
President's ability to deploy troops within the United States. The
Insurrection Act (10 U.S.C.331 -335) has historically, along with the Posse
Comitatus Act (18 U.S.C.1385), helped to enforce strict prohibitions on
military involvement in domestic law enforcement. With one cloaked swipe of
his pen, Bush is seeking to undo those prohibitions.

Bush Moves Toward Martial Law

Public Law 109-364, or the "John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007"
(H.R.5122) (2), which was signed by the commander in chief on October 17th,
2006, in a private Oval Office ceremony, allows the President to declare
a "public emergency" and station troops anywhere in America and take control
of state-based National Guard units without the consent of the governor or
local authorities, in order to "suppress public disorder."

President Bush seized this unprecedented power on the very same day that he
signed the equally odious Military Commissions Act of 2006. In a sense, the
two laws complement one another. One allows for torture and detention abroad,
while the other seeks to enforce acquiescence at home, preparing to order the
military onto the streets of America. Remember, the term for putting an area
under military law enforcement control is precise; the term is "martial law."

(Sec. 1042) Revises federal provisions allowing the President to utilize the
Armed Forces in connection with interference with federal and state law to allow
the President to employ the Armed Forces and National Guard in federal service
to restore public order in cases of natural disaster, epidemic or other public
health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or domestic violence. Requires
the President to notify Congress within 14 days of the exercise of such
authority. Authorizes the President, when exercising such authority, to direct
the Secretary to provide supplies, services, and equipment to persons affected
      by the situation.

W USA mozna byc aresztowanym przez przypadek (takie "lapanki")

From time to time, certain people in the U.S. also find themselves tossed into
special kinds of detention facilities. For example, during the 2004 Republican
National Convention (RNC) in New York City, protesters (and also bystanders)
swept up in indiscriminate mass arrests or illegal acts of preemptive
incarceration were temporarily locked up in "Marine and Aviation Pier 57," a
filthy facility of razor-wire topped chain-link cages that was soon
dubbed "Guantanamo on the Hudson." While being imprisoned in New York City's
own Gitmo didn't begin to compare to being tossed in the real McCoy or any
other secret offshore site, there was one striking similarity. U.S.
intelligence officials estimated that 70-90% of prisoners detained in Iraq "had
been arrested by mistake." That was also 2004. The next year, it was revealed
that, of the large majority of RNC arrest cases that had run their course, 91%
of the arrests were dismissed or ended in acquittals.

      Amerykanskie wiezienia sa globalizowane...

ABC News reported that the "CIA established secret prisons in Romania and
Poland in 2002-2003" before shutting them down in early 2006 and moving the
disappeared prisoners on to "a facility in North Africa." Following this
report, Tomdispatch contacted Major General Timothy Ghormley, then the
commander of the Combined Task Force Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) for U. S.
Central Command, to inquire about the prisoner transfer. Ghormley
stated: "There are no other U.S. bases in the Horn of Africa besides Camp
Lemonier in Djibouti." He went on to assert, "There are no prisons under CJTF-
HOA's command, and Camp Lemonier does not do prisoner transfers." When asked
about CIA operations at the camp, he said he was barred from talking about "any
security operations worldwide" and could not speak for the CIA. It is, however,
worth noting that Amnesty International reported earlier this year on a Yemeni
man who was "disappeared" and "flown on a small US plane to a site probably in
Djibouti, where he was questioned by officials who told him they were from the
      FBI."

      Planeta "wiezienie"

In 2005, Irene Khan, Amnesty International's general secretary, described
Guantanamo Bay as "the gulag of our time." But the American gulag is so much
more than Guantanamo and so much worse. The combination of U.S. "homeland"
prisons, where "one in 140 Americans, or as many people as live in Namibia, or
nearly five Luxembourgs" are locked away, the offshore imperial detention
facilities, the shadowy CIA black sites, and the ever-shifting outsourced
detention facilities operated by other nations adds up to something new in
history — the makings of a veritable American prison planet.

      Czy US miltary ma dosc??

      ....
In particular, it may be possible to use clauses in the Constitution to unseat
a President and a Vice President if they are found to be UNFIT FOR COMMAND.
There have been times in history when these types of things have happened.

For example, Henry Kissinger notified Strategic Air Command that they should
ignore any orders from Nixon (during his mental breakdown at end of his
Presidency) to launch a nuclear attack.

Czy personel US milatary i CIA zgodzi sie na ludobojcze rozkazy??

Their oaths to preserve protect and defend the Constitution and the Bill of
Rights, Truth, Justice and the American way have to be balanced against their
decision as to whether the orders of their commander and chief are lawful
      orders.

It would appear that this has been brewing since Murtha first went public.
Clearly the CIA doesn't like the degree to which they are being asked to get
involved in kidnapping, torture and murder.

Senior Army leaders have made clear that without a bigger active-duty force,
the only way they can maintain the intense pace of rotations in Iraq and
Afghanistan is by relying more heavily on the reserves, who make up 52 percent
      of the Army's total staffing.

More than 64,000 pieces of Guard equipment have been left behind in Iraq,

      Government Accountability Office.

Wojna w Iraku pochlonela juz setki miliardy dolarow. Ale to tylko drobna czesc
wszystkich kosztow, jakie poniesie ekonomika USA i takze ekonomika swiatowa.
Pierwsza wojna z Irakiem byla oplacona glownie przez ponstwa uczestniczace w
      koalicji.
Obecnie, koszty ponosi nominalnie USA, ale poniewaz wojna jest dluga (dluzsza
dla amerykanow niz ich udzial w 2-giej Wojnie Swiatowe), caly swiat jest
ekonomicznie wciagniety (poprzez ceny ropy naftowej). Reszta swiata moze
rowniez poniesc spore straty w zwiazku z nieuniknionym spadkiem kursow USD.
Dlugi rzadowe USA zblizaja sie do 9 bilionow USD (obecnie 8.6), ktore fizycznie
nie moga byc nigdy splacone. Jedyna metoda w tej sytuacji to systematyczna
      erozja sily nabywczej USD.

Tak wiec, uwzgledniajac wszystkie koszty, obecna wojna w Iraku bedzie kosztowac
      okolo 2 bilionow USD.
