Thanks for all your comments but I would, if you may, make some few corrections
and suggestions of Kenya and Africa as a whole in it's Socio-Political dynamics.
In as much as we (Kenyans and africans) would love to embrace Democracy and
capitalism as the ideal system for social, political and economic well-being,
so do the odds beat this very same idea... and it goes to the History of
African people. In most African tribes, the chief, is not only the ruler , but
the owner of His people and all the land... so to apease a chief or a King, you
had to bring gifts and presents... just like we have in Swaziland...
Speed dial to the 21st century, this is what the west call 'corruption' and the
idea of sharing land for all is what they term as 'socialism'...

My honest opinion, we in Kenya and Africa as a whole cannot have a fully-
fledged capitalistic society.... not with this Generation, maybe 2-3
generations to come, because the socialistic aspect of our lifestyle cannot be
separated or changed by a political ideology...

But again, I believe wealth is created when we have a full-blown capitalistic
society where everything is about Money.. it look cooth and unbecoming, but
time has proofed it to be true...

About Kibaki loosing the referendum, I guess he spread himself thin and under-
estimated the people-proposed version of the constitution which was termed as
the 'Bomas version' by changing it , supposedly to protect the interest of His
tribe. My analysis suggest the most damaging aspect of the modified proposed
constitution was that he was not willing to share presidential powers with a
proposed seat of a Prime Minister.... which goes back to the arguments I laid
earlier of the African way of life...

              Pozdrawiam
