Teen Has Figured It Out...

Feel free to spread the following rant everywhere, it makes for a good
arguement against some idiotic Bush supporter....

In a country where the poor and old cannot afford health care, in a country
where the economy is falling apart, in a country where 44 million people
live on less than $12,000 dollars a year, in a nation where 5 million people
are homeless, in a country where the entire media system is owned by only
six media mega conglomerates, in a nation with the highest crime rate, in a
country with the world's largest prison population, in a society where 60%
of marriages end in divorce, in a country where 25% of kids under 12 live in
poverty, in a country that cut 25 billion dollars out of veterans benefits
to help pay for a new war, in a country where the gulf between the rich and
poor is growing everyday, in a nation that supports dictatorships in Saudi,
Egypt, and Turkey, in a country where the government is full of corruption,
in a country with the world's highest teen suicide and stress rates, and
you're telling me our biggest problems are TERRORISM and DRUGS?

BULLSHIT!

Tlum.: W kraju, gdzie starszych i biednych nie stac na leczenie; w kraju, w
ktorym gospodarka sie rozpada; w kraju, w ktorym 44 miliony obywateli zyje z
mniej jak $12000 na rok; w kraju, gdzie 5 milionow ludzi jest bezdomnych; w
kraju, w krorym calosc srodkow masowego przekazu znajduje sie w tylko w
szesciu rekach wielkich konglomeratow;w kraju o najwyzszej stopie
przestepczosci;w kraju o najwiekszej liczbie uwiezionych; w spoleczenstwie,
w ktorym 60% zawieranych malzenstw konczy sie rozwodem;w kraju, w ktorym 25%
dzieci ponizej lat 12tu zyje w biedzie;w kraju, ktorego rzad obcial 25
miliardow ze swiadczen dla weteranow, aby zaplacic za kolejna wojne;w kraju,

I am astounded that an 18 year old "kid" has such a good "fix" on what is
wrong with this country. Muscles has great insight into what the problem is -
if only more kids his age were as astute we might not have to worry about
the future of this country.

If I could, I would e-mail "Muscles" and commend him. As a teacher in a
Middle School in NYC I must say it is VERY unusual to come across a young
man who can pinpoint the problems facing his and every other generation of
Americans.

Keep up you posting of these great articles - and do invite Muscles to post
some more of his thoughts on your website.

Right on. I'm 37, and this kid sounds more realistic to me than ANY grown
politician could even aspire to. I'm one of those 44 million, and
fortunately we have a farm, and are able to raise some of our own food. Well
ok, most of it.

I would like to add to Muscles' comments, if I may, regarding the state of
affairs. Let's not forget the media's constant bombardment of things that we
CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT. Everything from an $80,000 Hummer, to Britney's latest,
to facelifts, cellphones, huge stereos, and the list goes on and on and on.
They show us all the shiny and happy folks on TV, and that is what we're
supposed to be like. Buy all the latest stuff, keep up on all the newest
tech, or you don't count.

Well, uncount me.
