      No, it's wrong. You want to say "at second thought" or "on second thought".

                On/at second thought is what we use in my neck of woods. "Upon reflection"
                sounds terribly formal.

                  yes it does, ON reflection is formal but common formal :))
                  I've only ever registered on second thoughtS - probably because that's what I
                  say :) but it might be another one of these 'little' differences

                      same here, I've just found it in my dictionaries under 'second thought(s)'
                      both say 'thought' is AmE
