      hand-cut - cut by hand
hand-crafted - crafted by hand (painted, sculptured, decorated with beads or
      ribbons, etc, etc)
flat-packed - if it's about furniture, I guess it's all packed in a box and you
need to assemble it yourself. This could also apply to cardboard boxes/gift
boxes that are packed flat and when you need to use them you have to fold those
into full size boxes yourself (I call those space savers).
drama-laden - filled with lots of drama, oftentimes used with sarcasm.
dime stores - also known as five-and-ten-cent stores These are stores selling
inexpensive stuff, almost like Dollar Stores.
oilcloth/waxcloth- def. "Fabric treated with clay, oil, and pigments to make it
waterproof". It could be "cerata" in Polish. Here in Canada we call it vinyl
cloth but I can't be too sure if it's the same thing.
      highflying: full of ambition, aspiring.

      :)

by ja uczynic nieprzemakalna. oilcloth uzywali marynarze i rybacy. dzisiaj
ubieraja plastiki firmy helly hansen z norwegii.
