Hello,
I have just found this page and I thought that maybe there is a good
opportunity to find an English speaking person (a Native speaker)who is
interested in English conversations and also, maybe interested in learning
some Polish grammar (mutual conversations).
'll be glad to hear from You!
brgds,
12345
PS Im living in Warsaw

        Hi mar,
thank you for your message, though, i thought there would be nobody to answer
my post... Anyway, Im still interested in conversation. Would you like to learn
some POlish (or you already learnt some-living in Poland? How long have you
        been staying here?)?
How do I like Warsaw,... Before I moved there I had been living in a big city
(North of Poland), so there is no big big difference. There are more cultural
events, fests, more comfortable cinemas. It is easier to achieve sth in offices
(really!). But also- hurrying, running through all day, and day is running
imperceptibly...Being tired at 3 o'clock. It didnt happen when i was "taking
part" in a living in my hometown. Traffic! (hey! stop complaining!!)
OK, one things more-people are not very nice (the capital syndrom? ;-)
The subject of conversation,... I think the best is talking on culture. Im
studying Polish Language and Literature, so that subject would be close to my
interests. And it could be my pleasure to tell you sth on Polish poetry, for
        instance. Really!
        rgrds,
        12345
PS where do you come from?

            Hi mar,
            thanks for the message.
A few days passed before sbd answered, that's why i thought nobodys interested
            in.
To be quite truthful ive been looking for someone i could TALK to. Talking is
important part of learning foreign languages and i think i need to practice
this way (even knowing grammar so so).
Im not sure if i understood well-you r Polish, but staying in USA? What r u
            doing there (studying, working, travelling..?)
I dont have one favourite poet (im even not convinced it is possible!). I like
Wislawa Szymborska, Pablo Neruda (sonets!), Jacques Prevert, Tadeusz Rozewicz,
Walt Whitman, Miron Bialoszewski (+prose "Pamietnik z Powstania
            Warszawskiego"), and more more more...
What R U reading at the moment?
            pozdrawiam,
            12345

                  Hi mar,
thank you for your response. How do you spend the time before Christmas? Im in
a really christmas mood today! listening to a radio, where they feed us with
Christmas songs in a style of Frank Sinatra (I love this!),
hm, feeling so "high", even dont know if im able to write sth constructive,...
                  let me try..:
first of all - there was no offer in my asking on conversation. i did write
what i need to make my English better. Of course we can be in touch, but- you
must admit it- writing and lively talk-there are 2 different expieriences.
Yes, im suppose to be a teacher, im at the last year of studying at the
University. And im working as a librarian.
as I can see you did not accept the idea on exchange e-addresses, ok, i wont be
insisting. finnally i dont mind people reading this.
im glad you liked Szczecin (so many suspension points in your letter-why?
                  bad day?)

Love this idea of 'mutual'conversations. Is there any other kind? The non-
mutual ramblings tend to be known as monologues. Just to get it straight.

        hi nat,
i think you did not read my post CAREFULLY. I was asking on English
conversations offering to learn some POLISH grammar. That's why "mutual"
        conversations.

It seems to me you meant 'mutual benefit conversations' (?)
