      I.
      1.parachute=IT== DOESN'T OPEN
      10. If I lend you 10 pounds when will YOU repay me?
      24. Should you require anything else please RING the bell for the attendant.
      poczatkujaca" radzisz sobie niezle :)

      II.
      to warunkowy z zamierzonym efektem:

      2. My number isn't in the directory so people WOULDN'T ring me up.
      3. The police are not armed so we WOULDN'T have gun battles in the streets. (PO
TO, BYSMY nie mieli strzelanin na ulicach).
      etc.

      1. He doesn't work overtime, so he doesn't earn as much as I do.
(On nie bierze nadgodzin, WIEC nie zarabia tyle ile ja).
      Jesli to zdanie zamienisz na:
      1. He doesn't work overtime, so he WOULDN'T earn as much as I do;
bedzie ono znaczylo: On nie bierze nadgodzin PO TO, BY nie zarabiac wiecej ode mnie.

      Itd.

Teraz sama zrob II. i pogadamy :)

1.He doesn't work overtime, so he doesn't earn as much as I do.
If he worked overtime, he would earn as much as I do.

        dla porównania:

He doesn't work overtime, so he WOULDN'T earn as much as I do

in the house. (?)

Mimo, iz coraz czesciej spotkasz sie w zdaniach warunkowych z WAS (If I was...),
prawidlowa forma jest WERE (if I were...), takze w przypadku liczby pojedynczej.

              2. If my number were in the directory, people would ring me up.
              4. If the shops delivered, it would make life easier (life would be easier/easy).
              5. If he weren't very thin...
              6. If we had any matches...
It would be great if we had a steak to...
              8. If I weren't fat I would get through...
              9. If I asked him for help, he would possibly help me.
              10. If I could drive, we would take THE car.

              24. If I HAD a map, I would direct you.

pamietaj, ze w zdaniu warunkowym przyszlym, zdanie podrzedne musi byc w czasie
