bel-lka 28.10.08, 11:30 I hear that phrase almost everyday - I think my workmate just loves to use it. She uses it always as: "it just goes to show, really, is it". What she wants to say by using that phrase? Thanks! Agata Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś czytaj wygodnie posty
jonathan.oakley Re: "it goes to show" - what does it mean? 28.10.08, 20:06 We normally use this phrase when something has happened and we realise something is possible or have learned from that experience...some examples are: Bush is President of the U.S-it just goes to show that any cow boy can run for office The company said they would pay me for the 4 hours over time I worked last month-but they haven't. It just goes to show they don't care about us Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś
