happybogna 26.11.08, 17:49 Is there a difference in meaning between these two sentences? I am teaching myself English. I am studing English by myself. Do they both mean that I study on my own, not going to any school, or with the help of a teacher. Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś czytaj wygodnie posty
jonathan.oakley Re: Learn vs. teach 26.11.08, 18:57 They could mean the same thing, yes. It depends on the context. For example, "teaching myself English" can mean you are aquiring knowledge for the first time whereas "studying English by myself" may mean you are revising information already learnt. Yes, both sentences can mean you are learning English without the help of a teacher. Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś
