A bit of news on what happened to the members of the Georgian Ministry of
Interior Special Forces unit that carried out an attack on the Abkhazian
reservists training base and killed two Russian instructors. (they slit the
throat of one of the Russians and let him bleed to death, the other one was
shot in both shoulders, then both legs, defecated on while still alive and
then finished off with shots in the face; the Russians covered the reservists
escape during the attack by an overwhelming Georgian force, 15 Abkhazis escaped).
Over the weeks following the attack, a string of mysterious accidents befell
the members of the Georgian unit (info in Russian):

By October 26, when the majority of the attack perpetrators fell victim to all
kinds of unfortunate eventualities, the Georgian Minister of Conflic
Resolutions flew to Abkhazia and conducted urgent talks with the Abkhazian
Minister of Foreign Affairs, asking to stop liquidating whatever was left of
the Georgian Special Forces unit, and as a sign of good will the Georgians
freed the seven Abkhazian reservists there were keeping as POWs, without any
conditions attached. That however didn't change the "bad luck" for the
Georgian heroes, the last one of the Georgian unit still alive and not in
protective custody met an unfortunate end on Nov 5. The unit has been
effectively wiped out.
Turns out a Russian traitor led the Georgian group around the posts and
checkpoints to the base's location. He has been arrested and will face the
military tribunal.
