Great action yesterday.
Now they should bury him in a pig's skin

You mean they can again shoot a bunch of mothers and small children in the head
and then claim they attacked them?

I, for one, and not a great lover of the methods used, or the attitude displayed
in general by the US forces, but I can't do anything else but laud the action
that led to the death of this bastard. This time I'm with Marimax.

I agree as it is - but that's about the only useful thing coming out of this
mess including putting SaddamHussein in court.
I am wondering why we do not see any US troops in Darfur?

Because it's dangerous there, and they've got no oil.
Zarkawi deserved to die, though, and I hope he suffered.

      Nonsense.

They should cremate him in a sauce made from pigsick and dogshit, then sprinkle
the ashes over his birth village from the tail of a stealth bomber, and screen
it on prime time al jazeera television.

        Nonsense.
They should behead him, dress him in his mother's underwear, bury him wrapped
in an Israeli flag, then exhume him and give him a good kick up the arse.

This guy fought against our civilization – but he was a soldier and considered
a great warrior by many of his own people.

If any of the present time crusaders had the calibre of a statesman they would
return Zarkawki to his kinsmen with all military honours and let his people
make a decent funeral ceremony. This would win more respect for the vest than
          10 American batalions.

This guy in my books was not a soldier, he was a terrorist, and a bastard one at
            that.

All military honours - get lost! And win respect - from whom? He got less of a
punishment than was deserved (his death was too quick).

well said, russh. He should have had his head axed off slowly for the whole
world to see. Some poeple would love to see him screem and fight for his life
until his lifeless head starts to dangle. He was not a human being. He was a
              monster!

By how many of his own people, though?
Risking your life to fight the US/Brit invaders is one thing, hiding in a
bunker and occasionally making propaganda tapes or beheading some poor
            defenceless hostage is something else.
A soldier is someone who fights, possibly dies, or more usually just sits on
his arse waiting for orders. He may be brave, maybe not, but that's his job and
he gets a medal anyway. A resistance fighter resists the invader. Whether or
not he's brave depends on how he resists them, and not on whether his cause is
            just.
Many of the people Zarkawi sent to fight were courageous, because they risked
their lives for something they believed in. Zarkawi himself was a coward.
Most of the people killed by the so-called rebels in Iraq are ordinary folk who
just want to live their lives normally, drink tea, argue about football, watch
a film after a hard day at work, take the family out for a meal occasionally,
but die as random victims of some stupid plan to start a sectarian civil war.
The invasion of Iraq was a mistake, because either the Pentagon didn't realise
it would end like this, or they didn't care.
The real resistance shoot soldiers, only scum bomb civilians.
That was true in Belfast, it's true in Baghdad, it's true anywhere, whatever
            they're fighting for.

I thought you might find it interesting to learn what the Saudi Ministry of
Education is doing to close the cultural / religious gap between Islam and all
other major religions in the world.

The following are only some passages drawn from what are actually the “reformed”
or “rewritten” religion books that were revised following criticism from the
West. These are excerpts that are now being taught to Saudi children and which
were leaked to the Western press:

Grade 1: “Every religion other than Islam is False.”
“Fill in the blanks with the appropriate words (Islam, hellfire): Every religion
other than _______ is false. Whoever dies outside of Islam enters______.”

Grade 5: “It is forbidden for a Muslim to be a loyal friend to someone who does
not believe in God and His Prophet, or someone who fights the religion of Islam.”
”A Muslim, even if he lives far away, is your brother in religion. Someone who
opposes God, even if he is your brother by family tie, is your enemy in religion.”

Grade 8: “As cited in Ibn Abbas: The apes are Jews, the people of the Sabbath,
while the swine are the Christians, the infidels of the communion Jesus.”
“Activity: The student writes a composition on the danger of imitating the
      infidels.”

Grade 11: “The greeting ‘Peace be upon you’ is specifically for believers. It
      cannot be said to others.”
“If one comes to a place where there is a mixture of Muslims and infidels, one
should offer a greeting intended for the Muslims.”

Grade 12: “Jihad in the path of God – which consists of battling against
unbelief, oppression, injustice, and those who perpetrate it – is the summit of
Islam. This religion arose through jihad was its banner raised high. It is one
of the noblest acts, which brings one closer to God, and one of the most
magnificent acts of obedience to God.”

These are just a few of many quotes. If children are brought up being
brainwashed this way, how else do you expect them to act other than with rage
      toward anything Western?

(These were published in the Washington Post by Nina Shea, the director of the
Centre for Religious Freedom and Freedom House.)

      • ianek70 Brainwashing 15.06.06, 15:25
They're brainwashed and they're lied to.
Brainwashing children is always a far more cowardly and disgusting act than
trying to brainwash adults, but how far do they believe it?

Every Pole over the age of 17 will moan "Oh! Communism was a terrible thing!
The constant propaganda! Even as little children we were brainwashed!"
But if you ask them, "So, did you believe it?" they answer "Of course not."
It's only other people that believe propaganda, only foreigners are so stupid
        that they can be brainwashed.

The more you tell teenagers what to do, the less likely they are to do it.
Are teenage Saudis any different? Slightly, because they live in different
conditions, but not so much, and the Saudi state wouldn't tell us anyway.

Today is Boże Ciało in PL, the streets are mainly empty, although if everyone
believed the Church propaganda there would be 38 million people of all ages on
their knees worshipping an assortment of inanimate objects.
As small children in a "non-denominational" state school, we were made to sing
about our joy that Jesus lived in our hearts. My cardio-vascular system is to
this day thankfully devoid of Jewish carpenters, living or dead.
Saudi teens may write in their exams that the infidel should burn in Hell, but
they'll still be picking their noses with the other hand and fantasising about
        the shopkeeper's wife's ankles.
And if the totalitarian Saudi state genuinely believed kids would take their
propaganda seriously, they wouldn't accept such lines as:

        > Grade 12: “Jihad in the path of God – which consists of battling ag

        > unbelief, oppression, injustice, and those who perpetrate it – is the sum
        > mit of
        > Islam.

The Saudis, after all, have a major problem with Jihadists battling the
oppression and injustice of the sheiks...
