THE GOOD STUFF

1. Long-distance telework from any location in Poland to our USA client. No
more stressful and time-consuming rush hour commuting to office.
Intercontinental communication is made easy through provided Polycom IP
phones (using VPN network).
2. Full-time position. Steady job. Permanent employment contract is signed in
Poland. The job is available immediately.
3. Interesting technology. Development of an e-commerce transaction
processing web site in cooperation with one of the largest and
technologically most advanced US banks (Wells Fargo). Amongst many features
to be done: virtual credit cards, electronic checks, statistical risk
measurement and analysis, electronic funds transfer, highly efficient network
of internet payment processing with advanced fraud control and security
features.
4. Virtual Team. But face-to-face meetings do take place. We organize
occasional prepaid trips and team meetings to selected Polish resorts for
team conferences (and some rest and recreation).
5. Business Visa. Prepaid travel and meetings in USA with our client are
possible. Our company, in agreement with our US client, will arrange a
business visa (B1 or L1 classification) for qualified employees.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Good English language knowledge is necessary so that you can effectively
communicate with our American client remotely in speech (frequent voice
teleconferences) and in writing (instant messengers, email, forum).
2. Must be a citizen of Poland.
3. We accept ONLY full-time candidates for this position. If you are looking
for a part-time (e.g. as your second) job - then please do not apply.
4. You must have a high speed internet connection at home (Neostrada or
better).
5.Strong self-discipline and private quiet working environment at home. You
must be able to work remotely, without direct supervision, efficiently and
without distractions.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
------------------------------------------
You MUST have at least 1 (one) year of practical documented experience in
J2EE software programming to be considered. You must truly enjoy OO
programming in Java - since this is the key language we use. We heavily
depend on J2EE software patterns. You must know them well - in theory and in
practice. We also use Jakarta Struts programming framework.

Below is the listing of some major technologies that we use (in the order of
importance). Note that we do not expect you to know everything (continuous
learning is good!). However, you should know at least the items at the top -
and should be eager to learn the other technologies as needed.

of importance) are needed. Again, some learning is always expected. But the
more you know, the better.
