Poland squad suprising for Korea match
WARSAW (Reuters) - Poland coach Jerzy Engel has named an expected line-up for
the first game against Korea.
"The team for the Korea is not a dream team but I expect the guys will do their
best otherwise we may call them lazy assholes..." Engel told today's Gazeta
Wyborcza newspaper.
Poland, going to their first game in the World Cup finals after 16 years-break.
Squad:
Goalkeeper: Jerzy Dudek (Liverpool).
Defenders: Michal Zewlakow (Excelsior Mouscron), Jacek Zielinski (Legia
Warsaw), Jacek Bak (RC Lens), Tomasz Rzasa (Feyenoord),
Midfielders: Radoslaw Kaluzny (Energie Cottbus), Piotr Swierczewski (Olympique
Marseilles), Jacek Krzynowek (FC Nuernberg), Arkadiusz Bak (Widzew Lodz),
Strikers: Emmanuel Olisadebe (Panathinaikos), Marcin Zewlakow (Excelsior
Mouscron),
Suprisingly, a young polish hero Arcadiusz Bak "Mr.Fart" becomes a crucial
player in the midfield of the Polish team. He will be likely observed by
numerous managers from the best European clubs such as AC Milan, Liverpool,
Lazio, Hertha Berlin and Szczakowianka Jaworzno.
