The match is in progress, 45 minutes of the first half have been played.
Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 4459 to FC MaxiTeam
Arena. MaxiTeam tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. The
following players had been chosen: Sypniewicz - Witek, Kedziora, Zborczyk,
Bieniuk - Läfwald, Maryniak, Waligora, Talar - Zmuda, Tyniec.
BARCELONA!!! had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. Lineup: Zakalski -
Bobiak, Siminski, Stolarski, Kiesnowski - Szyszkownik, Bartlej, Ponury,
Rataj - Kusnierewicz, Kwiek.
Marek Talar of MaxiTeam received a yellow card in the 7:th minute for
unsportsmanlike behaviour. BARCELONA!!! had several good opportunities to
take the lead, especially in the 9:th minute when Bartosz Kusnierewicz came
up alone against Ferdynand Sypniewicz who managed a block. The referee showed
BARCELONA!!!s Kondrat Siminski the yellow card after a particularly nasty
challenge. After a fine move down the middle Adam Zborczyk nearly gave the
home side one up in the 13th minute. The finishing shot went just wide,
though. 17 minutes into the game Marcin Rataj was a hair´s breadth away from
giving BARCELONA!!! the lead. A prompt block by Ferdynand Sypniewicz saved
the home team that time. 0 - 0 was the half-time score. BARCELONA!!! held the
ball, with a clear 55 percent possession rate.
