co lepsze GeForce 256DDR czy Radeon 128 ?

no właśnie. Mam problem z wybrem karty graficznej. Rozpatruje dwie pozycje
Winfast na geforce fx 5600 256DDR za 800pln i radeon 9800 pro 128 za 1600pln...
no i może ktoś potrafi wyjaśnić co jest lepszego w dwa razy droższym i zarazem
dwa razy słabszym pod względem prędkości radeonie ? którą karte byście wybrali
nie zważając na fundusze ??

Jak porównywać, to porównywać podobne, nie?

Moim zdaniem do fx 5600 podobny jest Radeon 9600XT 256DDR, a nie 9800pro. Ja kupiłem HIS-a 9600XT, i jestem bardzo zadowolony - pod względem wydajności naprawdę "wymiata", a jakość obrazu jest lepsza niż w winfast fx5600 (porównywałem z wersją 128MB, ale to chyba nie ma znaczenia ;) )
Jak dla mnie - Radek RULEZ !!! Kupiłem go w sklepie (link poniżej) za ponad 1050 zł, a teraz kosztuje już 995...

Radeon 9600XT 256DDR jest doskonala karta.

Obecnie nie wykorzystasz i tak wiecej niz 128 DDR.

Zainstaluj Catalyst 4.4 ktory wyszedl tydzien temu.

Czy to tak naprawde obchodzi przecietnego uzytkownika ktory nie rozumie chip
architektury CZEMU?

color rendering, resolution, rotation, driver support, power consumption,
operating temp, noise levels, ....)

Architektura chip, i driver, to kombinacja ktora powoduje ze jest lepszym
performerem pod Benchmark test.

Jezeli chcesz wiedziec to przelec sobie obydwie na testach takich jak
SiSoft Sandra, Futuremark ( MadOnion ) czy 3D czy PC Mark i wowczas
zobaczycz roznice, albo poczytaj o rezultatach testow.

Obecnie Driver Catalyst 4.4 jest tez o wiele lepszym driverem niz drivery
nVidia.

Nvidia to clear out millions from GPU inventory, likely to increase DRAM demand

Nvidia is offering discounts of 10%-20% to graphics card makers, with the goal
of clearing out several million graphics processing units (GPUs) from inventory
before the end of the first quarter of fiscal 2005, which ends April 30,
according to sources at Taiwanese makers.

The total GPU inventory to be liquidated by Nvidia has a value of about US$80
million, compared with an average of US$50 million worth of inventory the
company had cleared out in previous fiscal years, said the sources.

Officials at Nvidia Taiwan declined to comment on the pricing, but stated that
the supply-and-demand situation of its chips remains normal.

Among one of the preferential packages Nvidia is offering till the end of this
month, the GeForce FX5200 will be bundled with the GeForce FX5700LE for just
US$87, an approximate 10% off their combined normal prices.

While the sell-off is expected to help Nvidia consolidate its market share, the
move will also help Taiwanese graphic card makers lower their production costs,
which have recently been pushed up due to rising DRAM prices, said the sources.

However, some card makers are also concerned that the ample supply of GPUs may
flare up makers’ demand for DRAM and therefore, push up DRAM prices further.
