Waiter/Waitress
Setting tables, takieng orders, serving food, cleaning tables
At least 3 months ( some employers will train)
Kitchen Porter/Assistant
Loading/unloading the dishwasher. Helping prepare food. Taking deliveries.
Generaly keeping kitchen clean and tidy.
Some kitchen experience desirable, but most employers will train.
Housekeeping
Changing bed lines. Cleaning rooms and bathrooms. Other duties.
No experience necessery.
General Assistant
Working in all departments. Waiting, bar duties, housekeeping and kitchen.
Experience in some aspects is desirable.
Commis Chef
Food preparation. Planting up meals. Assisting the chef in all aspects.
At least 3 months experience of food preparation essential
Bar Person
Taking drink orders. Serving drinks. Taking payment. Washing glasses.
At least 3 months ( some employers will train)
Reception
Answering phone/email. Taking bookings.
At least 3 months ( some employers will train)
Glass Collector
Collecting empty glasses. Loading/unloading the dishwasher.
No experience necessery.
Food Counter Server
Helping serve food.
No experience necessery.
Night Porter
Answering phone. Manning the reception desk at night. Some night porters also
serve behind the bar and provide room service.
Experience in some aspects is desirable. ( some employers will train)
Cleaner
General cleaning work such as restaurans, common ways.
