I am urgently looking for a Senior Linux Administrator for one of my
international clients based in Munich/Bavaria. You should be motivated and
have a task driven mentality and be able to think on your feet. You will be
expected to quickly diagnose, correct and document system level problems and
provide support for common and advanced administrative tasks. Apart from
feeling comfortable in a rapidly changing IT environment, you should have at
least 3 years hands-on experience in a data centre operations, hardware
deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting within E-business. Requirements:
BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline 3+ years
experience as a System Administrator. Experience in a production service
environment. In depth knowledge of Unix systems. In depth knowledge of TCP/IP
Networks. Experience as a System Administrator in a high-traffic Internet site
environment. Networking and hardware configuration Shell programming. Also a
plus: systems design and architecture experience. Familiarity with Intel/ and
based Server hardware certifications. Leadership ability. Relocation package
will be provided by my client!
