Program of Festival/Competition "CRYSTAL OF DANCE" 2004
1 - 2004 Rudolf Nurejev Award will be held in March12,13, 14/ 2004 in Fermo,
AP-Italia
in Dell�Aquila Theatre for the Italian selection
and on April 2, 3,4/ 2004 in Tirane, Albania, at the Opera and Ballet
Theatre,
the International Selection and final night.
Honourable guests:
It�s a special pleasure for the Association to invite you and your ballerinas
in the
participation as protagonists of its third edition of
International Festival/ Competition �Crystal of Dance� Rudolf Nurejev 2004
Award.
For the third time it will be at centre stage in Italy and Albania:
Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Funky and Hip Hop.
We are assured that we will be honoured from your participation, we are in
complete
disposition for detailed and further information of technical and artistical
about
the development of the International Festival/ Competition of Ballet.
Our association invites you to participate in this big artistical event
because it believes on and loves the field of ballet that is being nurtured
and organized from the schools, ballerinas, groups or the ballet companies
that
sacrifice to realize the stage dreams.
Information about the entrance in Albania: Required Documents
To enter in the Albanian territory each one of the competitors or their
escorts should have an individual or collective passport accompanied with the
health
documents , and the proper visas from their respective embassies for each
individual(
there who need it ).

Friday, March 12
The arrival and their accommodation in Fermo (AP), in the air-conditioned
hotels for
the participation of the guests that come from afar.
Time 15:30 until 19:30 rehearsals in the Theatre for the participation of the
first night
of competition.
Time 21.00 The opening ceremony of the third edition of International
Festival/ Competition
�Crystal of Dance� -Rudolf Nurejev Award followed by Competition/Spectacle
evening in
Dell�Aquila Theatre.
Saturday, March 13
Time 15:30 until 19:30 rehearsals in Theatre with the participation of the
second
evening of the Competition.
Time 21.00 Beginning of the evening Spectacle/Spectacle
Sunday, March 14
Time 9.00 until 13.00 Free rehearsals by the finalists of the competition.
Time 21.00 Beginning of Competition/Spectacle. Selection of the finalists in
Tirane-Albania (from April 2 to April 4 2004)

Time: 15:30 until 19:30 rehearsals in the Theatre for the participation of
First Night of the competition.
Time: 21.00 The opening ceremony of Third Edition of International
Festival/Competition �Crystal of Dance�-Rudolf Nurejev Award followed by
Competition/Spectacle evening in the Theatre of Opera and Ballet.
Saturday, April 3
Time 15:30 until 19:30 rehearsals in Theatre with participation of second
night of competition.
Time 21:30 beginning of evening Spectacle/Spectacle
Sunday, April 4
Time 9.00 until 13.00 free rehearsals for the finalists of the competition.
Time 21.00 beginning of Competition/Spectacle. Giving the awards and
scholarships in Greco Theatre, M.A.S in Milano, Ajkun Ballet Theatre etc.
During the three nights of the Festival/Competition we will be honoured by
the
prominent people of the World of Ballet in the stage of Theatre of Operas.
The final night will be transmitted through Via Satellite in Mondo Vision.

Rules
Rules of Competition
1-In this competition might participate solists, duet, ballet schools,
choreography groups representing a section of classic ballet, neo-classic
and contemporary, and a section of modern ballet, jazz, funk and hip hop and
it�s
limited to both sexes born before 01/01/1988 at least till 35 age old.( a
photocopy of
identification document for each person must be introduced).
The Pre-selections will be done by viewing the DV cassettes or DVD that
should be send
within the date set by the organization.( 1 march 2004)
2-This competition offers:
-award of a 1000 euro for the third place for each Classic and Modern
section.
-awards of a 1500 euro for the second place for each Classic and Modern
section.
-awards of a 2500 euro for the first place for each Classic and Modern
section.
�CRYSTAL OF DANCE� Rudolf Nurejev highest award
and an award of 5000 euro for the school, ballet group or for the best
company.
3-The registration fee of the competition is settled to a 100 euro for the
solists, 120 euro for duets and 180 euro for choreography for groups,
schools and ballet companies (at least not much than 12 members) that should
be
send to the association attached to the registration index-card, video
materials
for the selection that should contain only choreography in competition, the
list
is compounded only by each competitor in the program, solist, duet or each
other
group member,school or ballet company and a photocopy of payment of
Registration fees through the postal bulletin (Vaglia Postale) and mailed to:

4-The order of placement of the participants or the school programs,
solists, duets, groups or ballet companies during the competition nights in
Italy as well as in Tirane-Albania (Internationally) will be programmed
based on a complete and unquestionable decision by the International Jury.
5-Each solist, duets, group or ballet companies may present maximum of two
choreographs in the competition, 10 minutes in total for those who present
two choreographs. For those who present one choreography the maximum time of
the part can not pass 6 minutes for the groups, schools or ballet companies
and 4 minutes for solists and duets. If the choreographic part goes beyond
the set time, the jury decides automatically place it at the last place for
breaking the rules.
6-The musical and choreographic parts should not contain any publicity for
individuals, groups or ballet companies, for third persons or choreographers
should not contain any insulting or political messages as it will be
followed by immediate punishment and removal from the competition without
pre warning.
Also the musical parts should be registered in a high quality CD where the
only part registered is the part presented in the competition(it�s
recommended that a second copy should be used in case of technical problems
any other surprises).
In the cover of the CD it should be stated:
-solist�s name, duet, group, school or ballet company
-music�s author
-part�s length
The CD should be handed to the Association upon arrival at the Theatre.
7-All the solists, duets, groups, schools, or ballet companies will only
have 15 minutes of rehearsal in the Theatre and there should be no violation
