People with no way out

Hello, I'm Bruce from the UK and I've been teaching English in Poland since
1994.

I've created this topic in order to give those interested the chance to improve
their written English skills and vocabulary. I will be regularly putting
forward events happening in the news, both in Poland and abroad, for
discussion.

What is your view on the following? - taken from Newsweek POLSKA last week
(19/2002 - 12.05.02)


POLAND

People with no way out - what should we do with the cruellest criminals, in
Polish prisons for life? Isn't life imprisonment crueller than the death
penalty? Should we change the way life imprisonment is implemented altogether,
to change these people for the better - or execute them?

Couldn't you look for a more interesting topics?:)) Or maybe try to change the
group.
People that you see here are rather interested in psychology and the mysteries
of human nature than in politics or history.
