This ain't about traditions. This is about skills and athletic work. US players
are good athletes with good motivation. Apparently, their team management and
coaching did a great job on motivation side... and mindset either. They are
selected really from the best. Did you see how they run? Then ask yourself who
has the best runners in field and track. Todays football seems to be about speed,
work, a lot of running, positive attitude and being good team player - NOT being
star or individiual who is set on becoming one.

If this is the way Portugal players think they will mean nothing and most
expensive Figo transfers may become only history. This World Cup proves
something... actually that what I mentioned before. Ask yourself why star loaded
teams like France, Argentina, maybe Italy... and of course Poland ;) (well, stars
only in players' own minds) come back from the World Cup with nothing. Well,
Portugal and Italy have problems with qualifying. Ask also yourself questions why
teams like Korea, South Africa, Senegal, USA and Cameroon without any stars and
being considered average or weak teams performed that well in the World Cup.
Folks from those teams may take spots in European leagues pushing out those who
overestimate their work and skills and are overpaid.

You're wrong my friend. US has eleven hard working men, they want this
win as much as everybody. If US goes on, soccer could get a little more
exposure in the US, maybe, it could be a good thing
I wish Poland the best, but Poland will lose.

Soccer is not the most popular sport in USA but it is a fourth consecutive
World Cup for US team and there is no question that they are better team that
Poland. Let's face the truth - Polish soccer team sucks.... and I don't think
they are capable of beating USA.

Polska przegra 3:1. Wcześniej już to napisałem.

Przypomina mi się anegdotka z mundialu w 1950r, kiedy to z USA grać miała
Anglia. Wszystkie angielskie gazety pisały, że są tylko dwa narody nie umiejące
grać w piłkę - Amerykanie i Eskimosi. I co się okazało - Amerykanie wlali
przemądrzałym Anglikom.
Niestety Anglicy nie zagrali meczu przeciw Eskimosom ;-)
