Test Lead – Games
Warsaw

Purpose:

The purpose of the Test Lead role is to lead and own all testing activities for the project or projects assigned adhere to schedule, budget and release the highest quality product prior to release.

Responsibilities:

- own the quality of the assigned projects
- create, update and maintain all project testing documentation such as test plans, test cases and progression status to ensure effective testing coverage throughout the project
- primary testing point of contact with customer on a project level
- lead, co-ordinate, support and guide the test team through the production testing cycle
- ensure tasks and responsibilities are clearly communicated and assigned to each member of the testing team
- owns the project bug database and the quality of the bug reports
- ensure that projects are released on time, within budget and to the highest possible quality
- train new testing staff
- continuously works with other Test Leads and Testers to improve knowledge and proactively suggest new ideas and improvements in all testing areas including testing tools

Requirements:

- minimum of one year Test Lead experience in the video game industry
- minimum of two years functional games testing experience
- experience in project planning, reporting, monitoring and control
- experience in assembling testing team and team management
- experience in dealing with games studios
- excellent negotiation, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- fluent English (verbal and written)
- strong game playing abilities and good understanding of the various genres
- excellent knowledge of current gaming consoles
- working knowledge and experience using bug tracking tools
- excellent time management and analytical skills
- bachelor’s degree
