    FIFA president Sepp Blatter says the English Football Association must halt
    the "totally unacceptable" trend of players and coaches challenging the FA's
    authority.

    In a first-person column in Wednesday's Financial Times, Blatter said he was
    concerned about the state of English soccer, citing Rio Ferdinand's drug
    scandal and disciplinary problems on and off the pitch.
