Questions about Krakow from Croatia

Hello, everybody
I'm from Croatia and I'm planning to come to Krakow very soon and stay for a
few days.
What do you think about hotel RT Regent in Kazimierz? This is the best option
I found on the Internet so far, considering price, location in city center
and commodity.
And if any of you have ever travelled from Krakow to Croatia by car, which
road did you take? What is the best option?

I think the hotel is ok, if you ask about the road I ussualy choose the one via
Wien, Slovenia, Zagreb because it is safer (I guess) ten the Macedonian one
