Dear Elizabeth,

Speaking on behalf of the Assyrian Aid Society of Australia we have spent the
last few weeks lobbying the Australian Federal government the UN Australia, as
well as Amnesty International Australia branch.

This week we are contacting the major churches and Aid organisations.

Unfortunately time is running out and the war may very well create a
humanitarian nightmare for our Assyrian people the majority of whom are
concentrated in the urban centres such as Baghdad, Mosul and Kirkuk.

We request that all individuals worldwide contact their local UN group,
government, human rights group etc. and request that they assist all the
people of Iraqi in the days to come.
