Mam zalozone w domu stale łącze internetowe. Od niedawna zacząłen miec małe
problemy objawiajace się wraznym spowolnieniem transferu. Provider
zdjagnozowal problem ktorym okazal sie Zone Alarm? Czy to prawda, ze to
program trudny do skonfigurowania a jego dzialanie moze spowolnic transfer.
Kolega mi poradzil zeby zamiast Zone Alarm, uruchomic po prostu fire wall'a z
Win XP, ktorego mam zainstalowanego? Moglibyscie poradzic w tych kwestiach?
Spotkaliscie sie z podobnym problemem?

Moim zdaniem nijak sie ma ZoneAlarm do transferow, przyczyny raczej szukal bym
gdzie indziej, moze twoj ISP ostatnio podlaczyl duzo nowych userow i lacze
zapychaja, a moze zrobil rygorystyczna przycinke pasma?

Mav ma racje - ZoneAlarm ma sie nijak, ale zeby to wykluczyc na 120% to mozesz
przeciez go wylaczyc na 15 i zobaczyc czy nie nastapi dramatyczna poprawa. A
jak nie nastapi to masz dobry argument by od nowa monitowac swojego provider'a.

Ale problem moze byc i w twoim komputerze np fragmentacja dysku, problemy z
rejestraca, jakies programy dzialajace w tle, zle ustawione polaczenie z
internetem.

Zone Alarm moze spowalniac transfer. Jezeli uzywa sie go dlugo i lista
blokowanych jak i autoryzowanych stron i programow jest b. dluga.
Dobrze jest wtedy odinstalowac go i zainstalowac ponownie. Zaczac wszystko od
zera.
Nie zgadzam sie z tym ze ten program jest trudny w konfigurowniu.

Zgadzam sie jednak z moimi przemowcami ze ISP jest winny w wiekszosi wypadkow
powolnego transferu. Aby ukryc swoje wady szukaja dziury w calym.

Launch ZoneAlarm Pro and click to highlight the "Firewall" tab on the left hand
side .
In the pane that appears on the right hand side in the section "Internet Zone
Security" set the slider control to "High"
Then click the "Custom" button in the same section.
The next settings page is divided into two sections with tabs Internet Zone and
Trusted Zone at the top of the page.
Under the Internet Zone tab there is a list of settings that can be accessed by
scrolling.
At the top is the high security settings and the only thing that should be
checked from there is "allow broadcast/multicast".
The rest should be unchecked
Scroll down until you get to the medium security settings area.
Check all the boxes in this section until you get to "Block Incomming UDP
Ports".
When you check that you will be asked to supply a list of ports, and in the
field at the bottom of the page enter :
1-65535
Then go back to the list and check the box alongside "Block Outgoing UDP Ports"
and at the bottom of the page enter:
1-19, 22-79, 82-7999, 8082-65535
Repeat this proceedure for the following settings:
"Block Incomming TCP Ports": 1-65535
"Block Outgoing TCP Ports": 1-19, 22-79, 82-7999, 8082-65535
Then click "Apply", "Ok" at the bottom of the page.

Back in the right hand "Firewall" pane go next to the yellow "Trusted Zone
Security" section and set it to "high" with the slider.
Click "Custom" and repeat the above proceedure this time choosing the Trusted
Zone tab at the top of the settings page.

These settings will stop all incoming packets @ports 1-65535 and also block all
pings, trojans etc... this will also stop all spyware or applications from
phoning home from your drive without your knowledge!

Slyszalem bardzo zle zdania na temat programu, ktory instalue sie razem z Zone
Alarm - True Vector.
Sprobuj zablokowac go, zeby nie startowal automatycznie z Windows ( msconfig )

Każdy firewall spowalnia transfer !
Powód jest oczywisty, aby działać firewall musi przeglądać wszystkie pakiety,
które przechodzą przez komputer.
Inna sprawa to to iż:
ZoneAlarm to raczej marny produkt
Ilośc pakietów na sekundę dla wspólczesnego komputera nie powinna stanowić
problemu.
No chyba iż masz poważnie obciążonego kompa przez aplikacje działające w tle.
Trzeba też odróznić firewall który analizuje pakiety w poszukiwaniu wzorców
ataków ( np powtarzające sie pakiety ICMP z jednego source address`u) a inna to
filtry które blokują określone porty ( bardzo często przez producentów zwane
firewall). Jeżeli chcesz to mogę Ci dokładniej wyjasnić.

Chociaz nie mam na pewno takiej wiedzy jak Ty waldi, to jednak wydaje sie
logiczne ze kolejna przeszkoda na drodze transferu, musi go spowalniac. Ale z
drugiej strony nie powinno byc to az takie spowolnienie, ktore wyraznie odczuwa
uzytkownik. Koniec koncow odinstalowalem ZA i... jest ok:)
Czt moglbys polecic jakis dobry inny firewall?
