There are a number of problems with the opinion you express,bith
in terms of presentation and it is ill founded logically.
- You confess to your cynisism, hence parially undermining your
point.
- Where is your evidence for your assertion that Tony had any
choice in the timing? If indeed it is a responce to a perceived
threat, then he maybe has had no choice with respect to the
timing.
- Statistically if there are more than about thirty people in a
room there is a greater than 50/50 chance of two of them having
the same birthday. It is not the answer one might intuitively
expect but can be proved mathematically. If you consider the
number of different events the 'chosen' timing could have
aligned with, it was bound to coincide with one or more of
these, enabling cynics to make misleading statements.
