przestepczej (przestepstwa podatkowe i inne - patrz ponizej), a czesto
dokonujacej wykroczen przeciwko prawu, organizacji. To by bylo politycznie
niepoprawne.

Greenpeace to banda histeryków i harcerzyków narażających ludzi na
niebezpieczeństwo i sprowadzających zagrożenie ekologiczne (m.in. przez
blokowanie portów i statków, zmuszanie ich do zmiany kursu na niebezpieczny,
przykuwanie się do kadłubów statków, etc., czy tez - ostatnio - rozjezdzanie
swoimi "pro-ekologicznymi" statkami raf kolarowych).

Greenpeace fined for reef damage

Environmental group Greenpeace has been fined almost $7,000 (L4,000) for
damaging a coral reef at a World Heritage site in the Philippines. Their
flagship Rainbow Warrior II ran aground at Tubbataha Reef Marine Park, in the
Sulu Sea, 650km (400 miles) south-east of Manila. Park officials said almost
100 sq m (1,076 sq ft) of reef had been damaged.
The accident happened while the Rainbow Warrior was on a four-month tour of
the Asia-Pacific region to promote environmentally-friendly energy sources.

A non-profit watchdog group today filed a complaint with the Internal Revenue
Service against Greenpeace, accusing the organization of illegally soliciting
and transferring millions of dollars in tax-deductible contributions.
In a report titled "Green Peace, Dirty Money: Tax Violations in the World of
Non-Profits," Public Interest Watch (PIW) accused Greenpeace - one of the
world's most recognizable and visible non-profits - of knowingly and
systematically violating United States tax laws.

Accused of eco-manslaughter
The Congress of Racial Equality (CORE), one of America's most venerable and
respected civil rights groups, has accused Greenpeace of "eco-manslaughter".
The reason is Greenpeace’s support for international policies limiting
development and the expansion of technology to the developing world's poor.
"But well-fed eco-fanatics shriek 'Frankenfoods' and 'genetic pollution,' "
CORE said in a statement announcing their intention to confront Greenpeace.
"They threaten sanctions on nations that dare to grow genetically modified
crops, to feed their people or replace crops that have been wiped out by
insects and blights. They plan to spend $175 million battling biotech foods
over the next five years. Not a penny of this money will go to the starving
poor."

Front Page Story
Greenpeace accused of breaking environmental law
by Associated Press
Anchorage, Alaska — Alaska prosecutors have accused Greenpeace of breaking
environmental laws, citing the activist group's ship for not submitting oil
spill prevention documents before entering state waters.
The Greenpeace ship Arctic Sunrise, with 27 activists on board, is touring
Southeast Alaska to protest against logging in the Tongass National Forest.
The state Department of Environmental Conservation cited the ship on July 14
for not filing an oil-spill response plan or having a certificate of financial
responsibility in case of a spill, which large non-tankers are required by
state law to do five days before entering state waters.
Department of Law spokesman Mark Morones said the misdemeanour charges were
filed on Thursday.
Greenpeace spokeswoman Carol Gregory said Thursday she did not know charges
had been filed. She said the matter was an oversight and the proper forms were
filed as soon as it was discovered.
“It was a clerical error about paperwork and not about environmental
protection,” Ms. Gregory said. “We're Greenpeace. Of course we want to work
within all environmental laws.”
Prosecutors filed charges against Greenpeace, Arctic Sunrise Captain Arne
Sorenson and the ship's agent, Willem Jan Beekman. The criminal negligence
charges carry a maximum sentence of a year in prison and a $10,000 fine for an
individual and $200,000 for an organization.
The ship was ordered on July 14 to anchor until the documents are filed. The
ship resumed its passage in violation of the order and was stopped again,
according to the department.
