+Can you understand now why Polish people don't like calling "German Camps in Poland" the way you do? When ever you use that name remember taht you give me, and all the people in the world the argument to call "German Army in Sweden" just "Swedish army". It's shorter, isn't it? You can say it's different situation. Is it? Had you any possibility to say no to that army in your country? Polish people could do nothing about bilding this camps. If it's too hard to be understand to yoou I will say it simpler. I fall down, and you will throw me on the ground. If we use your thinking about "Polish Camps" than you can say in both cases: "You fell down". But think... is it the same situation?+ P.S. bretonmoo1 After 1968 09.03.06, 12:57 Following dramatic events of 1968 the years after witnessed a flee of people of Jewish descent from Poland to a number of European countries. A large number of them migrated to Sweden and settled there. It is no coincidence that a stirring publication aimed at discrediting Poland has emerged from the pens of those who must have felt strong resentment then and have renewed their obsessive anti-Polish attitude now. The historical facts are very brutal. No other people are able to return hatred to the country of their cradle with such vehemence like the Jews. It is also no coincidence that GW excells in highlighting controversial writings against Poland anchoring readers to sick stances on Polish-Jewish relations. I see and understand. I knew and I know. I wouldn't like to hate anybody be it a Jew or anybody else. Odpowiedz Link Zgłoś

AND: Was your newspaper´s reaction to the big number of letters-to-the-editor correct, professional, fair and honourable - for the Swedish journalism, for the victim-nations´ sensitive feelings and for the historic thruth ? piotrek410 Czy jesteśmy pieniaczami? 09.04.06, 12:20 Ponizej zamieszczam wypowiedzi Zydow na forum gazety Haaretz www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/701163.html---------- Poland is a Jewish Graveyard Poland and the Holocaust go hand in hand. Of the 3 million Jewish souls in Poland before the war, about 5,000 survived. The Poles were enthusiastic in their genocide. If not for Poland there would be no Holocaust. Their enthusiasm and dedication to the killings is well memorialized. This request to "UNESCO" is another atrocity against the victims. Holocaust deniers can all meet in Iran soon and make a decision of what they want to call the graveyards. I call it genocide. Dennis Wolf – San Jose, California Poland All the `Death Camps` were located in Poland. This fact underlines the true state of polish anti-semitism. Yes, Poland had a larger Jewish population than Germany but the Poles acquiesed willingly to the vile murderous activities of these camps. They are a stain on Polish history and no amount of spin can cleanse Poland of its past. Even today hatred of Jews in Poland is recognised as being alive and very high. Leon Rosen - Israel Poland Your concern for the sensitivities of the Polish people without any consideration or mention of feelings for the MILLIONS of Jews massacred in the death camps of Poland is yet another reason for not changing the name of Aushwitz and all it stands for including the polish involvment. Re Lavi2 - Israel Jews do not forgive Poland bc Poles are not sorry My cousin visited Poland with a Yeshiva group and a survivor from Poland. They visited the survivor`s childhood home, where he found a Polish family living, using his parents dishes, furniture, everything. The woman of the house, unapologetic to the extreme, told the story of the day they took possession. She said they heard shooting and soldiers told her the homes were now vacant, so she moved in and made soup for them. She described the meal down to the last detail and spoke with satisfaction about how the soldiers enjoyed it. Fact is, the Germans are sorry about the Holocaust and they`re working to change German feelings about Jewish people in their education system; also they are fair with Israel today. The Poles have not apologized and are as anti-semitic as ever - AND we do not forgive them. Michelle – Jerozolima The stank! No matter what most of the Poles say, or think, or do, the stank of burning flesh will always denounce their eager accessary to the murder of 6.000.000 people. Mauricio Kaplan – Brazil Auschwitz Though it is Shabbat, dear G-d, please do not discount my testimony in this extraordinary circumstance, when the Poles are trying to deny their involvement, very deep hatred of Jewry from day one, when they were the ones who DROVE the Jews in their trains to the death camps. They cannot eliminate the stain of their involvement, they were the ones who drove those trains. Hypocrisy is not a cure. Secondly, when Jews did return, there were pogroms. So have the courage to admit your deep complicity, without which this war and death machine would not have been able to exist. I did not go in one day across Germany to help dissolve the Soviet Empire, as G-d is my witness, for the sake of freedom of religion and World Jewry, to witness this kind of denial, after my blood was shed by this very same, anti-semitic Catholic Church, whom I trusted with my life, and who let me down and damaged me instead for life. Therefore I am a witness, and the Poles should not act as cowards. Sandra Chitayat - Canada Changing the official name of Auschwitz? No way. How many polish and east European Jews were sent to the Nazi gas chambers as a direct result of the lack of intervention by the Polish government? HOW MANY? HOW MANY? The Polish government wants to hide this Barbaric period of their history. They will probably get their way,as people today could not give a damn. David Nigel Braham – Milan, Italy TO DAVID LINCOLN Blaming Poland for the holocaust has been written in blood already. Way to late to erase it. YET ALL CHOOSE TO BLAME THE JEWS FOR THE OCCUPATION AND PARTICIPATED IN THE NAZI GENOCIDE PROGROM 101. Polands request to change Auschwitz name is an act of embarrassment but more of denial. It may be that Poles were discouraged seeing Germans on their streets, yet that does not change the fact that they joined in the killing of European Jews. Anti Semitism was well on its way in Poland before the German invasion. So hateful were the Poles, they chose to let the Jews start the Warsaw uprising alone, and only after the uprising was crushed did they begin their own. diffie Re: "Polskie obozy śmierci" - jesteśmy pieniaczam 09.04.06, 19:50 Jeśli chodzi o incydentalne przecież używanie w krajach skandynawskich sformułowania "polskie obozy śmierci", to trzeba mieć wzgląd na tamtejsze obyczaje prasowe. Karykatury Mahometa i "polskie obozy śmierci" to ta sama kategoria.
