"FRANCE. Selective Beauty and flamboyant fashion designer John Galliano
(pictured) have announced an 11-year global licensing agreement to create,
manufacture and distribute fragrances under the John Galliano brand name.
“Selective Beauty will be John Galliano’s laboratory for translating [his]
fertile creative vision into a leading international fragrance brand, in line
with the values and equity of his fashion house,” said the company in a
statement.
The agreement was described as a strong stepping-stone within the designer’s
strategy to further expand his business and establish himself as a key player
in the fragrance industry.

values of excellence and creativity,” commented Sidney Toledano, President of
John Galliano SA.
Selective Beauty President Corrado Brondi added: “John Galliano is a perfect
brand for our newly created Luxury Division, in which products must be
