ImageShack® is a free image hosting solution. It can be used to share
pictures with friends, as well as post images on message boards and blogs. It
can also be used to direct link images from your personal website or online
auction. And best of all, it's completely free. You may upload as many images
as you like, as long as each of them is less than 1024kb in size. You may
upload .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .bmp, .tif, .swf, and .png image types. bmp, tif,
and tiff images will be converted to .png automatically. ImageShack® does not
generate thumbs for images that are 200x200 pixels in resolution or less. The
ImageShack Transloader allows you to upload images to ImageShack from other
websites quickly and easily. This means that if you find an image on a website
that you would like to host on ImageShack, you don't have to download it to
your computer and then upload it, you can simply upload directly from the
website that hosts that image.

Many of us read hundreds of articles and other items online that influence our
thinking (or are just amusing). Furl is our memory. Although Furl has some
features that overlap with blogging tools, blogs and Furl approach Internet
content in a fundamentally different way. Blogs focus on the content you
create (which often contains links) while Furl focuses on the content you
consume (i.e. what the links point to). This is why Furl offers powerful
features such as archiving and full-text search, which apply to the linked
page but don't make as much sense in the blog space. The key to using Furl is
that you need a button in your browser that you can click to save the item you
are viewing. Thanks to technology called "bookmarklets" you don't need to
install any software to do this. Furl is a free service that saves a personal
copy of any page you find on the Web, and lets you find it again instantly by
searching your archive of pages. It's your Personal Web.
