By this sentence, Andy Warhol acutely and provocatively described the influence of most american “fast-food culture” – a part of more wide “mass culture” – all over the World.
Wathever Warhol said this by the point of view of the “eye”, the Dutch Chef Schilo Van Coevorden and the Italian Master Perfumer Orazio Pregoni are going to do the same by those of the “palate” and the of the “nose”, respectively.
In the prestigious Symphony Room of Consevatorium Hotel in Amsterdam the people will be involved in a Slow tasting of Fast food par excellence, reinterpreted by talent of the great Ducth chef in a brand new menu created for the event. The will is to regenerate the attractiveness of ingredients just considered typical of fast-food and then interesting no more in the gastronomic scenery.
During the Slow POP Dinner, all the people will have the luck to attend to the live creation of a perfume by the “fast” foods par excellence. The new impossible challenge of the Italian Perfumer Artist Angelo Orazio Pregoni, who will distill a perfume with hamburger, bacon, ketchup, French fries and every kind of milkshake!"
