"FRANCE. Lancaster has created a new feminine fragrance from the house of
Chopard.
Following on from Chopard Wish (launched in 1997), Chopard Wish Pink Diamond
will be launched in Asian travel retail in July, followed by the Pacific
region in September.
The original Wish fragrance, alongside Casmir and last year’s introduction,
Infiniment Chopard (The Moodie Report.com, 9 June 2004), constitute the three
key fragrance pillars for the luxury jewellery brand.
The name is designed to emphasise and enhance the jewellery heritage of
Chopard. Diamonds are widely regarded as the most glamorous and feminine of
gems; pink diamonds are rarer and considered even more precious.
Wish Pink Diamond is therefore described as a radiant fragrance that
celebrates joy, exuberance, fantasy, femininity and spontaneity.
The juice, a fresh floral-fruity combination, was composed by Alexandra Jouet
of Takasago. It opens on top notes of tangerine, neroli and pear, leading to
a heart of rose, acanthus, apricot and freesia. The base features amber,
sandalwood and musk.
The flacon, created by Fabrice Legros of Pi Design, is a re-interpretation of
the original Wish bottle. Many-faceted, like a diamond, it reveals the rose-
tinted juice within. The neck and cap are a smooth silver.
The outer carton is coloured a metallic pink, and embossed with a subtle,
graduated star motif.
Chopard Wish Pink Diamond will be available as a 30ml and 50ml edt spray."
