>>>Hello Monika,
Good to see that you have a good sense of humor ! I hope your exam went
well, does that mean that you will try to find a job in England as well ?
I might have a job opportunity for you in Rotterdam. It is a very fast
growing practise, they work with a prism concept, this is an American concept
in which the assistants do a lot of work as well. In Holland assistants are
also allowed to do smaller dentistry treatments. They will do for example the
anaesthesia and small fillings etc. So you will be responsible for the work
the assistants are doing ..so I think with your experience as a teacher this
will work out just fine !
Let me explain what the practise will offer you :
The first 3 months they will provide you with Dutch lessons …very intensive
courses ! , lessons in the Dutch health care, and ofcourse information /
lessons in how to work with the prism concept, computers etc. During this
period you will get a fixed salary.
After the 3 months they will lower your fixed salary and then give you also a
commission based salary. They do push you in a few ways to higher turnovers …
first ofcourse the commission the more you make in turnover the higher the
commission but also every week you will have meetings in which they will give
you more information about methods , cooperation with the assistants etc.
The practise is partly owned by one of the biggest insurance companies of
Holland, this cooperation will guarantee you with enough patients and a
steady flow of money ..
Now some numbers :
The first three months if you want to work 4 days (38 hours ) you will
receive a fixed salary of 5.000 euro bruto for 5 days work you will get
6.000 euro bruto, as said this time will be just for language training ,
computer training concept training etc.
After three months your basic salary will go down to 3.000 euro a month but
you will get the following commissions:
750 - 1500 you get 5 %
1500 - 2000 you get 10%
2000 – 2750 you get 12.50 %
2750 - 3000 you get 25 %
3000 - 3250 you get 40 %
3250 - 3750 you get 50 %
3750 and more you will get 60 %
The commissions are based on all the turnover you will make with your
assistants ..so also their turnover will be put on your account. In a normal
practise in Holland you will make around 1500 euro a day with one ore two
chairs , so you can inmagine that they expect you to make around 3000 euro a
day. So if you work 4 days then you should be able to make an extra 10.000 /
12.000 euro a month on top of your basic salary. Coming from Poland you will
get a special reduction on the taxes… the first 30% of your brut income will
be paid netto .. so say you make 13.000 euro bruto a month then you will get
the first 30% say 4000 euro netto and the other 9000 euro will be taxed
normally ( In Holland tax will go up to 50 %) So you will get around
9.000 /9.500 euro netto income.
Our office will be helpful with for example finding a house, tax, insurance
etc. <<<
